As a key player for the La Marque Cougars football team, Francis dominated the gridiron with his speed, agility, and strategic playmaking. His exceptional performances earned him All-State honors, a testament to his status as one of the top high school football players in Texas. Whether he was scoring touchdowns, making crucial tackles, or leading his team to victory, Francis embodied the spirit of a true leader and competitor.

On the basketball court, Francis was equally impressive. His height, athleticism, and sharp shooting skills made him a standout player for the Cougars. He led his team with determination and skill, earning recognition as one of the most talented athletes in the region. James Francis earned four varsity letters in football for the Bears and two in basketball during his stellar college career from 1986 to 1989.

James Francis is currently ranks 4th in career sacks with 13.5 and he ranks 6th in career total tackles.
Bluebonnet Bowl
As a true freshman, Francis helped lead the Bears to a 21-9 victory over the Colorado Buffalos in the 1986 Bluebonnet Bowl
Southwest Conference
James Francis is one of the Southwest Conference’s most dominant defensive players, earning consensus 1st team All-Conference honors in 1989.
Basketball Highlights
In his two seasons on the men’s basketball team, he led the Bears to the NIT in 1986 and the NCAA Tournament in 1988.

JFF and The Mitas Foundation launched its interactive STEM workshops providing Coding, Video Game Design, Minecraft, 3D . This 5-day camp is open to all middle school students throughout the Round Rock and Austin metroplex.
Big Holiday Bike Give-A-Way!
We served almost 200 families and gave away 350 bikes to kids ages 2-12. We rely on donations, both monetary and kids bikes, to help this program succeed.
